I am going to talk about The best laptop Desktop and DIY systems for Machine Learning as well as the best cloud options.

When it comes to choosing the right machine for machine learning, you are usually choosing between Portability and Processing power. Now, spoiler alert, we do have some really excellent pieces of tech to show you guys, all under $60.

 

Let's kick this off with the Hcman mouse mat. It's a perfect size, it has excellent metal finishing on it, it looks very in keeping with a modern desk, and it also touches compatible with changing the LEDs by placing your finger on this fingerprint pad right here in the middle. 

Clicking on it lets you cycle through numerous different colors or turns it off altogether, and it is well worth noting that the Hcmanlogo in the bottom corner does light up. And it also has a fair chunk of weight to it as well. It feels like a sturdy product. 

If you want a mouse mat with a little bit of RGB accent lighting to go along with your set up, and you want to do it on the cheap with a lovely braided cable, I wouldn't look much further than this. 

Now, this is something that I've been using my outside gate for over two weeks now, and it's been working really, really well. And trust me, when I picked this thing up, I thought it was going to be really, really bodge. 

And in fact, this thing is that good that it's the second one that I've bought. You get an instruction manual in the box, you get a micro-USB cable, and then you get, well, the lock itself. This is a padlock that scans your fingerprint. Permanently, to set this thing up, it's an absolute breeze. 

You download the app on your phone, and you log in with a username and password, and then once you've gone ahead and downloaded the app, it comes with a QR code in the box that is tied to your lock and you then scan that code. Now you can go ahead and with the in-built Bluetooth, go ahead and unlock the lock. 

It'll say "connecting..." on the screen, and then the lock will go ahead and unlock. And then on the phone screen, once it's opened, it will also give you an at-a-glance battery percentage so that you can make sure that your lock isn't running out of battery. Mine has stayed on 100% for the last three weeks now. 

Now, it doesn't stop there. As well as unlocking this little thing with a Bluetooth connection from your phone,

It also has a fingerprint scanner on the front of it. So now, permanently, it's unlocked. 

It just works, and I thought that this was going to be a gimmick that wouldn't work. It works. 

Now the most expensive item by a considerable amount, but still under our $60 price budget, is this tiny projector. 

Yeah, a projector for $60. Now, this thing does look like a little bit of a toy with these big, thick, mushy buttons on the top and this focus finder on the left-hand side, and that's because it sort of is a toy but holds second. 

This projector is aimed at kids, mainly because, well, they won't really be too fussed about the image quality. Now you can't expect miracles from a projector that's under $60, but it really did get me thinking. 

If you simply go to Online Store and type in "monitor," after a little scroll, one of the cheapest ones that I've found on here is this AOC monitor for £54. It's still more expensive than this. 

Now, you have lots of ways of connecting into this mini projector on the side. Well, this is what I'll be using. It has a full-sized HDMI port, so you can literally plug this thing into your laptop or your phone or your computer. Virtually anything which has HDMI. 

And it shows up as a 720p display. Now, I don't think it even warrants the 720ptag because the quality from this thing really isn't that good, but it's doable. 

You can plug a computer in this, and with a pitch-black room at your disposal, you can have a relatively large image for the small price of, well, under $60. I don't think there's another product on the market that will let you do that. 

It also has a micro SD slot in the back of the projector, so you can chuck on a couple of films, give it to your kids and let them watch away and you can also plug in a set of headphones on here, and it also includes remote and different bits and bobs like that. 

One thing to note, though - no battery inside of this; it does need constant power via the included proprietary power cable. But still, a full-on projector that fits in the palm of your hand for under $60- can't really complain. 

Now I couldn't include this little device in the top 5. This is probably one of the cheaper ones here, coming in at under £20. This is a WiFi security camera. 

I'm not going to drivel on too much about this little camera because I've already gone ahead and done a dedicated video on things. After all, it is the best security camera for under £20 that money can buy. 

Mostly, it's a little WiFi camera that has night vision. It sends you to push notifications to your phone when it either sees and/or hears something. It's powered by micro-USB on the back of it, so you can actually power it up in a remote location with a battery bank. 

It has a couple of little gimmicks like two-way audio, and you can live to view it from anywhere in the world as long as the camera and you have an internet connection. 

For the last few weeks, I've been looking at my little puppy with this thing, and it's been beneficial at notifying me when the puppy is barking and/or just letting me have peace of mind, to make sure that he's okay by life viewing him on the camera. All in all, I think this camera is absolutely excellent. 

I can't rave enough about it, and they can add more to this thing with software updates in the future. So, go ahead and use the link in the description and buy one of these before they get more and more expensive because, trust me, they will. 

They will get more expensive. I'd pay over $60 for this thing. If this thing was over $60, I wouldn't grumble. But it's not, it's $23.83. A security camera on the cheap. 

Okay, guys, so coming in last, but not least, we have this Bluetooth speaker that I actually bought my girlfriend two weeks ago, and this is another one that I purchased myself, just because I think this thing looks really lovely. I want to put it in the office, or just put it somewhere on display, and I mean, heck, I'm probably not even going to use it. 

This is a Bluetooth speaker. As you guys can tell, it has four independent drivers on the front here, and I bought this for my girlfriend because it looks super, super cute. She has it up on her mantelpiece at home. This thing seems that nice that I wish they had put this control pod on the top of it on the back of the speaker, just so that it's a little bit more hidden, but then I suppose people would complain that it's not very accessible. 

But on here, you have the mode button, five volts in for charging, a 3.5-millimeter input jack for listening to legacy devices, and then you also have a micro SD card for listening to music on one of those and obviously, this thing has Bluetooth inside of it too. 

You have the volume up and down buttons, play, and pause, and then you also have a power button, and, yes, it has a built-in microphone too. And as you guys can hear, this thing as well as looking awesome sounds pretty good too. Now, this thing definitely looks better than it sounds. 

If you want a Bluetooth speaker to have exceptional sound quality, this isn't where I would be looking. Still, then again, if you want a speaker that has excellent sound quality, you probably want to spend a little bit more than $60, but yet still, if you're on a budget, you want something that looks nice and has a half-decent sound quality for the price, this is really, really good. 

The thing is, because it's so large, it has a vast chamber inside of it so the low end, in this low-priced speaker, is quite adequate, whereas, with cheaper speakers, they're a bit smaller, they don't have the volume of space inside of them, and the bass usually lacks, and I hate a track without bass in it. So this, well, it gets my approval anyway. 

But there you go, guys, those are 5 tech items that I've been using in my life this month. All under $60and things that I've actually thought: That's pretty good, and I want to tell you guys about it.

Still, there are many wireless earphones we have earphones that are quite inexpensive and budget-friendly, all the way up to your downright expensive headsets. 

To start with, we're going to talk about the best wireless earphones under 2,000. 

Now, I'm not a big fan of entry-level Wireless earphones. I think it's an utter waste of your money, and I believe that you're better off not buying anything at all than wasting your money buying a crappy piece of earphones. 

But, the only exception I would make is for the Witworks Blink Buds. Witworks based out of Banglore has designed the Blink Buds to be a probably a very impressive entry-level Bluetooth earphones. 

At Rs.3000, you start getting a lot more options, and my top pick for the best wireless earphones under Rs3000 is the 1More IB Free their entry-level wireless earphones. So, the earphones are metallic in their color, which gives it a beautiful premium look at the same time, the big differentiator is the fact that it comes along with Qualcomm's aptX technology. 

So you're assured that when you're using aptX, you're listening to the music the way its meant to be heard at the highest possible resolutions, that's something that I think is well worth the extra Rs1000. For those reasons, the 1More IB Free is my top pick for the best wireless earphones under Rs3000. 

The Best Wireless earphones at Rs4000 bucks, and here you start going mainstream; we've got Jabra, the Danish company known worldwide for its communication products.

Their entry-level stereo earphone is the Jabra Elite 25E. Its again, an excellent wireless headset made from plastic nothing very premium about it, charge it once, use it through the day. 

That's what the Elite 25E promises the sound quality is average you'll find at the same time its made out of plastic, so it's not very premium looking, comfort is not much of an issue here. Still, just for the battery life alone, I would say at Rs4000 bucks, the Jabra Elite 25E should be your top pick. 

Okay, now let's get to Rs5000 bucks. Here's where things get interesting because now you have some premium audio brands that become available, and they've got some very compelling products. My top pick is from the German audio manufacturer Beyerdynamic. 

The Beyerdynamic Byron BT is the Bluetooth version of their entry-level earphones Byron, and they sound just like the Byron with the convenience of Bluetooth now added. 

The Byron BT comes in a beautiful aircraft-grade aluminum body, making it reasonably durable. Still, the sound signature of the Byron is unique that it's flat. So if you're a person who enjoys a lot of thumping bass or wants a sweet, sharp treble to keep you motivated while you're working out, the Byron's probably not the right earphone for you. Still, you'll find if you're a person who's a discerning music listener who can tell the highs from the mids, then the Byron is most likely to impress you with its sound signature. 

For the additional Rs1000, don't forget that Beyerdynamic also offers you 2 Year warranty, so you're more likely to save some money in the long run if you consider the fact that most wireless earphones do not last very long. 

Okay, the best wireless earphones under Rs6000 now we get into some dangerous territory. 

I would say that compared to most audiophile earphones, these have a lot more bass, which makes it very enjoyable, especially if you're going to be using your headsets to workout. 

They're made entirely of aluminum, and they're sturdy. Have come with a 1 Year warranty, but what's most outstanding is that they come with a 12-hour battery life, which means that you can use it several times on the go without needing to worry about the battery dying on you. 

Step up the budget again by Rs1000.

The best wireless earphone under Rs7000 has a very unconventional choice in here. I'm going to stick my neck out and recommend the Eoz One to you. Roz is a tiny startup from Spain, and they became famous for a Kickstarter campaign talking about this very product, the Eoz One. Its a couple of years old and is a beautiful looking wireless earphone. 

Its made entirely of premium materials like aluminum and vegan leather. What's unique about the Eoz One is that apart from the good looks, Roz is taking a very unconventional approach to the earphone design. The earphones come with an over-ear plan, and they pack in all the electronics into the earbuds themselves, making it bulky. Still, the wire connecting the two earbuds is minimalistic, with nothing on it at all. 

So in terms of comfort, it's very comfortable if the Eoz One fits your ears. If you're somebody with small ears, there's a good chance that they won't meet in, but the earphones themselves sound great to come with a 1 Year warranty and a reasonably good battery life. 

The best wireless earphones under Rs8000 RHA MA650 wireless. For those of you not familiar, RHA is a super premium audio brand from Glasgow, Scotland, and they are known around the world for making some outstanding sounding earphones that are built with super-premium materials like stainless steel and aluminum. 

They're very durable, which is why RHA offers a 3 Year warranty on all its products, including the RHA MA650 Wireless. 

You're not going to get any wireless earphone that comes close to the MA650 Wireless In terms of durability, and they assure you that you will last for three years, so that's an easy decision to make.

In terms of sound excellent, valid to life sound, punchy bass, clean sound signature allowing you to hear all the details in the music, While you use it on the go.

The MA750 Wireless is very similar to the MA650 wireless; it comes with stainless steel built. It comes with a three-year warranty and outstanding 12 hours battery life, but the notable difference is that this comes with the beautiful handmade driver that opens up the earphones' sound. 

Now for the next earphone on a list, We're going to take a quick detour, and that's because I want to talk to you about the German brand Bragi and their latest offering.

The Headphone is a truly wireless earphone, which is why at this price point, it's very unusual that I'm going to prioritize convenience over sound quality, but that's really what Bragi's.

The Headphone is about; It's a genuinely wireless product with two earbuds just left and right and nothing connecting the two.

So, it's a bit like the James bond style experience, where nobody can see you and tell you that you have your earphones.

The Headphone sounds nice.  I would say just for the fact that a genuinely wireless product should be on this list. It's going to be my top recommendation for the best earphones under Rs13,000.

Top 5 Best Smartphones of 2020 under Budget

  
- What's up, guys? Mohit here on Gupta Mechanical, and we are almost halfway through 2020, and although it's been a pretty bad year so far, the good news is that we've had some excellent smartphones.



Firstly, I've used many smartphones this year, but I'm not used to every single one. So there may be some smartphones that would make your list that hasn't made my list. That's fine. Also, this is my personal top five list. It may be slightly different from your list. That's also fine, and we can still be friends.

I'm just giving you my top five. With that all out of the way, let's get straight to it.

1. Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus

So the first smartphone on my list in no particular order is the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus.

Now the S20 line does have three smartphones, the S20, the S20 Plus, as well as the S20 Ultra. The S20 Ultra, in my opinion, is more of an enthusiast phone.

It's not something for everybody. Whereas the S20, as well as the S20 Plus, are smartphones that are easily recommendable to most people. The Samsung Galaxy S line has been known to have some great all-rounders, which is the case with the Samsung GalaxyS20 and the S20 Plus.

We've some high displays with 120-hertz refresh rates, which makes things look very smooth—great all-around cameras with remarkably consistent results, especially for video. I would say that the S20s do has the best video on the Android side with up to 8K video recording.

Wireless-charging, reverse wireless-charging, and although the Galaxy S line this year for the first time does not have a 3.5 millimeter jack, we still do get a micro SD card slot.

So you can expand the storage on here, something which you can't do on pretty much any other device right now. Now we do have some different variants depending on your region. You can either get the Exynos variant or the Qualcomm Snapdragon variant, which I've spoken about many videos before.

There are inconsistencies in terms of performance, and if you do get the Qualcomm Snapdragon version, you will be getting a superior device overall. Although we do have a 120-hertz display, this is only at full HD.

2. Oppo Find X2 Pro

We don't get the quad HD resolution if you do want 120 hertz. Well, despite that, if you do want a great all-rounder, then the S20 and theS20 Plus, are great options. Now one device that offers both quad HD resolution at 120 hertz is the Oppo Find X2 Pro. Now, this is a perfect all-rounder. Bright display with minimal bezels as well.

Ticks all the boxes when it comes to specifications.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage with 512 gigabytes, and the fastest charging thatI've tested on any smartphone,

65-watt SuperVOOC 2.0, which can get your phone from zero to 100% in just around 40 minutes, which is insane. We've got some excellent overall cameras, including periscope zoom technology, which will allow you to get in very close to your subjects.

Although you do have some of the fastest wire-charging that you will find out there, unfortunately, there's no wireless charging, which I did find myself missing.

The cameras are excellent, but the selfie camera I think can be improved. You've got only up to 1080p, and the dynamic range isn't vast when you're taking portrait shots.

3. OnePlus 8 Pro

If you are looking fora lot of the same features that you're getting on the Find X2 Pro, but at a lower price, then, of course, we have the OnePlus 8 Pro, which is the next device on my list.

The OnePlus 8 Pro looks very similar to the Find X2 Pro, which is because it's almost the same display. Oppo and OnePlus are partner companies.

So it's easy to see why this is. So you do have quad HD+ with 120 hertz, which makes things super smooth, but what I like about OnePlus devices is that, yes, they tick all the boxes when it comes to the hardware, but it's the software which makes things feel even faster. Oxygen OS is one of my favorite skins on Android.

It's spotless, and it doesn't really have too much clutter, and you do get quick updates from OnePlus as well. This year, the cameras have also been improved. We've got some excellent cameras on the OnePlus 8 Pro, which is very comparable to some of the competition, and we do get 30 watts warm-charging out of the box, but what's more important is that for the first time on an OnePlus device, gets wireless-charging.

Not only that, but it is also up to30 watt wireless-charging.

Now, although you do have to get a separate charger for this, it's an excellent option to have. It's not perfect. I have experienced some display issues myself, which other people have also reported on, and these are being improved with software updates as far as we know. The cameras are good at the rear, but the front-facing camera is locked off at 1080p. You cannot get 4K from the front-facing camera.

The price, although it's cheaper than other flagships starting at around 800 pounds, or $900, is quite a bit higher compared to what OnePlus has offered previously, nevertheless, the OnePlus 8 Pro is an excellent all-around smartphone at this price point, and it's a device that can easily recommend.

4. Huawei P40 Pro

The next smartphone on my list is the Huawei P40 Pro.

Now this smartphone, in my opinion, has the best design on any smartphone this year with its silver frost finish, which I like. Huawei, really one of the first to introduce graded finishes on their smartphones, and I think they've done an excellent job here with the P40 Pro.

Another thing that Huawei introduced was periscope zoom technology, and we've got great cameras on the P40 Pro, some of my favorite. The zoom is good, and we had a sizeable primary sensor, but as well as that, you get some great front-facing cameras.

I would say that the P40 Pro has my favorite selfie cameras on any smartphone right now, and that is because we've got two cameras at the front, which do help with the portrait mode. Those do give you quite a bit of a cutout, the pill cutout on display, and the screen is perfect, but it is 90 hertz, not 120 hertz like we've seen on some of the other competition.

Now that pill cutout also has some additional sensors, which do allow 3D face unlock, which is something that no other smartphone on this list offers. So you do have an in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a very secure 3D facial unlock.
Other devices usually just use the front-facing camera for facial unlock, which doesn't make them secure.

This is not the case with the P40 Pro. You do have very secure methods to unlock your smartphone. You get 40 watts charging out of the box and 27.5watt wireless-charging, but of course, the biggest downside on the P40 Pro is the lack of support for Google Play Services.

Now, this is very unfortunate, and although it is entirely possible to use the P40 Pro daily because we do have alternatives like the Huawei App Gallery, and personally for me in particular.


The APK simple app gallery, which gives you most of the apps that you would use regularly, miss those core Google Play Services. Although you can access a lot of these through the web browser, the experience is not going to be the same as a device that does have Google Play Services supported from the get-go.

A few people have found workarounds to get Google Play Services unofficially on the P40 Pro. Still, I hope this is a situation that can be fixed in the long term because Huawei offers some high devices and brings lots of high competition to the table, and the P40 Pro for definitely makes my list of the top five smartphones of this year so far.

5. iPhone SE

Now the final smartphone in my list I know is going to be a little bit controversial, and that is the iPhone SE.

Now before people go crazy in the comments saying how can this be one of your favorite smartphones of the year so far, hear me out.

Yes, the display is nowhere near the screens of the 2020 flagships that we have these days.

It's practically the same as the iPhone 6, which came out many, many years ago. We do have very thick bezels with LCD technology and a low resolution, however, the iPhone SE retails at around $400, or about 420 pounds.

In my opinion, it has the best cameras overall for photos and videos at this price point, and that is because although the camera hardware might be old camera hardware, it is using the A13 Bionic chip.

The A13 Bionic chip has its image signal processor, which gives you some great results for photo and video, and performance is right up there with the flagships thanks to that A13 Bionic chip. It's swift and smooth.

Now it's not perfect, of course.

Along with that display, it's also not getting the best battery life because it's a very very small battery. Still, you do get wireless-charging here, and it's also a much more compact form factor, which you can't find these days on many other smartphones.

So if you are after a smaller smartphone at a reasonable price, and especially if you want to be part of the Apple ecosystem and take advantage of features like Airdrop.

Then the iPhone SE is a perfect option, and it has made my top five list so far. So that is my top five smartphones of 2020, so now.
