Generate Retrieve Virtual ID VID is a temporary, revocable 16-digit random number mapped with the Aadhaar number. VID can be used in Aadhaar number whenever authentication or e-KYC services are performed. Authentication may be performed using VID in a manner similar to using Aadhaar number.
It is not
possible to derive Aadhaar number from VID. Create or retrieve lost forgotten a 16-digit Virtual ID for your
Aadhaar
Residents who do
not have registered mobile number can also order using Non-Registered Alternate
Mobile Number. 1) Click on "Order Aadhaar Card" Service. 2) Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number (UID) or
16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) or 28 digits Enrollment ID. 3)
Enter the security code. 4) If you have
TOTP, choose option "I have TOTP" by clicking in check box else Click
on "Request OTP" button.
Download an electronic copy of your
Aadhaar. It will be
available in a password protected PDF file.
Step 1: Click on 'Download
Aadhaar' option from My Aadhaar option
Step 2: Select the "Aadhaar" option under
"I Have" section
Step 3: Now, enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number.
Click on 'TI want a masked Aadhaar' option if you want to download Masked
Aadhaar.
Step 4: Enter Captcha Verification Code and Click "Send
OTP" option to get the one-time password on your registered mobile number
Step 5: Enter the OTP received on your mobile
number Step 6: Complete the survey and click "Verify and Download" to
download electronic copy of your Aadhaar.
Check Aadhaar
Card Status Check if your Aadhaar is generated or updated (In case you have
updated at an Enrolment Update center). You will require EID (Enrolment ID) to
check your Aadhaar Status.
The EID is
displayed on the top of your enrolmentupdate acknowledgement slip and contains
14-digit enrolment number (1234123.4512345) and the 14-digit date and time (ddmmyyyy
hh: mm: ss) of enrolment.
These 28 digits
together form your Enrolment ID (EID). In case if you lost EID, you can
retrieve lost or forgotten ElD by your registered mobile number.
Then there is
also various measures in case of loss of an Aadhaar card or enrolment number.
UIDAI helps customers in ordering a reprint especially when there is a lost of
Aadhaar card or address change. Interestingly, there is a 28-digit number which
helps you know, the exact status of your Aadhaar reprint.
This is called as
Service Request Number (SRN). SRN is a 28-digit number which is generated after
raising a request for 'Order Aadhaar
Reprint' on UIDAI website.
This number is
generated each time a request is raised regardless of your payment status at UIDAI.
Aadhar Update History
Step 1: Select the "Aadhaar Update History"
option from the "Aadhaar Update" section
Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar number or the virtual ID
and security code
Step 3: Select whether you want to send the OTP to
your registered mobile number or generate
Step 4: In case
you select "Send OTP",
Step 5: You can enter the Time-based 0TP generated
in the mAadhaar app for authentication
Step 6: Enter the
OTP/ TOTP and click on the "Submit" button
Step 7: A list of all update instances will be
displayed on the screen irrespective of updates performed online/offline or in
biometric demographic data.
Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID
1) Click on
Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EIDUID Button
2) Select if you
want to retrieve your Aadhaar number (UID) or Enrolment ID (EID)
3) Write details
like your name and mobile number or email id
4) Write the
captcha verification code
5) Click on send
OTP. The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
6) Mention the
OTP as received on your mobile and click on Submit. Your Aadhaar number or
Enrolment ID will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Order Aadhaar Card is a new service launched by UIDAI which
facilitates the Aadhaar holder to get their Aadhaar details printed on PVC card by paying nominal charges.
Residents who do

Lock Unlock Biometrics Any resident with valid
Aadhaar should be able to use the service.
This feature
empowers an Aadhaar holder to lock biometric. After locking biometrics if a UID
is used for invoking any of the Authentication services using a biometric
modality (FingerprintIris) a specific error code 330 indicating biometrics are
locked.
Verify Aadhar Number Here you can check if your Aadhaar or
Aadhaar submitted to you is a genuine one or not.
